Target Investigations & Security Newsletter July 2007

Newsletter July 2007

Hi All,

Welcome to the mid year newsletter from Target investigations & Security.  You have either received this as you are a current client, have previously been a client or have connections from within the company.

Wow I can't believe that it is already half way through the year.  I guess we are all wondering where it has gone.  I suppose it is a sign that we are all busy.

I have some pretty exciting news, updates and tit bits to share:

News:

I have recently completed a course in Perth, Australia for Lead Auditor in Security Management Systems and Lead Auditor in OSH.

I know this sounds like a bit of a mouthful, so what does it all mean?  Well it enables me to perform audits, and obviously give consultancy to ensure compliancy for a variety of reasons.  At present there is only one other person who is certified in Australiasia and he is a good friend.  We work to the various International and Australiasian Standards so there is no hiding from any non comformities.

Having this type of work performed in any business is an excellent marketing tool for a point of sale.  We have a few clients already who have benefited from our experience and qualifications and have secured good contracts with large clients.  I am awaiting for certification to come through (although I can obviously do compliancy work already) and will keep you informed.

So if you have any auditing, compliance or consultancy work please give me a call to discus.

Updates:

Substance abuse is still very topical.  Previously we introduced New Zealand Drug Detection Agency (www.nzdda.co.nz) who specialise in this field.  We now find that more and more employees are stealing at their work place to fuel a habit.  We have worked on several serious cases in recent months particularly involving methamphetamine or “P”.  Please contact me or the guys at NZDDA if you wish to find out further information on this fantastic new service.

I have also previously mentioned Technical Services Ltd who perform all my security equipment installations and servicing.  (www.tsl.org.nz)  These guys have consistantly performed at the highest level, with a team second to none in New Zealand.  They have recently branched out to Australia to widen client base.  Contact me if you have any equipment issues.

Forensic Services:
Just a reminder that we are capable of providing full computer forensics services.  This also generated a great deal of interest, particularly within the corporate world. Again please contact me if you wish to find out more.

Hand in hand with the computer side of forensics (and of course with popular televsion shows such as CSI), we are able to offer a full compliment of forensic services.   We have a large team of scientists able to look at any evidential item - just like the movies!

Other Services:

In keeping with previous newsletters I would like to remind readers of several services we are able to provide which are sometimes are forgotten.  These include:

- Security Guards - we have recently performed security at a range of events and locations.  I pride myself with guard professionalism and experience.

- Personal Protection (Body Guards) - maybe not something most of you will have a require for, but you would be surprised at how often our services are called on.

If you wish to discus these or any other services please give me a call.

Debt Recovery / Repossessions:

One of the most common problems in business today is bad debts (yes even I have them!).  This can affect cashflow and in severe cases shut a business down.

We have developed a system for debt recovery and repossessions which is cost effective as well as taking the hard work away from you.  In recent times we have enjoyed a great deal of success acting as a third party for clients with many bad debtors wanting to settle accounts fast to get the PIs off them!  This to me means that our system is working.

Please feel free to contact me if you wish to discus this further.  We can develop an individual package to suit your needs.

Giveaway:
Not so much as a giveaway, but a discount.  If you or any client you introduce to me mentions this newsletter (July 2007) I will give a 10% discount to any work performed throughout July and August.  That 10% will be either as a discount on the work or a rebate back to the client or yourself.  This could be a good little earner for those who are really pushing our case out there.  New clients must mention the Newsletter July 2007 and obviously your name.  I look forward to being inundated!

Conclusion:

Well we missed the Americas Cup for another few years, and the ABs lost against the Aussies - but not all is lost.  We still have the Rugby and Netball World Cups coming up, so keep your fingers crossed for a NZ victory.

If there is anything you wish to discus with me please give me a call or drop me an email.  I can guarantee total discretion and 100% commitment.  I look forward to helping you.

As always I appreciate all those who managed to find the time to make contact.  Please visit our website (www.targetpi.co.nz) to find out more about us.  Again we would welcome any feedback and comments regarding our site.

If you missed previous issues – please go to the newsletter page on the website where you can find them in the archives.

Kind Regards,

Gary
